Xmas Update

Well Christmas has been and gone for another year, we were up late organizing a few certain Xmas presents LOL!!! and we were ten woken up at 4.15 am yes that’s right 4.15 am after putting Charlize into bed with us for a little while and getting kicked and shoved I made her sit on the floor of our bedroom and watch some TV.  We did get a little sleep in this time and then got woken up at again about 6.00 to screams of Santa came Santa came !!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yes she was just a little bit excited to see what Santa had left her, which was a lot in her Santa sack she found books, a torch, pool toys, Mickey mouse crocs and probably more but I can't remember.  She got a big wooden kitchen from us alone with some clothes after a little while Jeff asked her if Santa brought her the Trampoline and she said no we told her she had better go look outside and check if he did bring her one.  She ran outside and we heard squeals of he did bring one, he did bring one !!!!  Needless to say she loved it.

Poor Carter did get a lot of stuff just some clothes, bath toys, a little truck and some crocs not that he had a clue what was going on he slept most of the day.

 We went down to visit Lilly in the morning and then off to Jeff's cousins house for a couple of hours and then home for lunch with Jeff's family and my family minus my parents they came over later for dinner.

 

I headed off to bed early about 9.30pm I was exhausted and so ready for bed !!!!

Boxing Day we had some friends come over for a swim and some lunch and Carter had his first swim in the pool he wasn't over sure about there were a few on off cries I think the water might have a been a little cool for him.

Merry Christmas

Well I have MIA for a little bit but I am back on board now, we finally moved into our new house and have the internet and phone all working (bloody phone providers).

Both the kids are well Carter has grown heaps and is nearly 4.5kgs now, Charlize loves her little brother and always tries to help out when I am bathing and changing him.

Charlize is right into the xmas spirit and walks around singing Christmas Carols all day her favorites are Jingle Bells ( i have heard this since about July and it is driving crazy), Rudoplh the Red Nose Reindeer ( well bits of this one LOL), We wish you a merry christmas, Santa Claus is Coming to town.  She loves Santa but is scared of him IRL I did get her to give Santa a Hi Five last night so there is some progress there LOL.

A quick photo update

Carter James Nutley

Introducing our beautiful baby boy CARTER JAMES NUTLEY, he made his entrance into the world on Friday the 10th October 2008 at 3.37pm he weighed 2320 grams (5lb 2ozs) was 47 cm long.

He was born at the Mater Mothers Private Hospital and was delivered by my wonderfulobstetrician Dr Sile De Bhal and His Pediatrician Dr Tony Prado.  Dr Prado was so good with him and took good care of him for us.  Carter spent 4 days in the special care nursery due to having fluid on his lungs and was also having a breathing problems.

He finally got to come upstairs to room in with me on the Tuesday morning and we come home from hospital on the Thursday afternoon.

Carter is adored by his Big Sister Charlize who loves to look at him and give him cuddles and  kisses he is doing brilliantly at home he is feeding about every 3-4 hrs, he very rarely cries and he loves his baths.

Ok so I have finally scrapped the last of the ultrasound photos and all that is left to be done in the album will be my Maternity Photos which I al still waiting to get from my friend she took these for me last week.

Just popping to show off a couple of photos from yesterday Charlize was flower girl at a friends wedding I don't have the best shots on my camera Jeff had the camera and I was too busy keeping her under control LOL.  Will post some later when I get some more off a friend.

Round 3 SYTCS

Ok so we are up to Round 3 of SYTYCS comp over at Scraptacular and it was my turn to make up the Scrap-eography so here is my example Layout and the Scrap-eography that goes with it.

Use a piece of Patterned Paper as your background not cardstock
Use mix of different types of Patterned Paper (not from the same story)
ink edges of all Patterned Paper and Photos
Use cluster of embellishments
Use staples
Use a 6x4 photo

I also decided I should make up an album to hold all of this babies ultrasound photos and the disc that they give us at each scan and this is the first page of the album.

Ok just quickly popping in to show off a mini album that I started ages ago and finally finished off yesterday all the stuff for the album came in a DT pack from Scraptacular.

Shock Horror

Ok don't die of shock but I have actually scrapped again thats right 3 in a week what is going on LOL.

I did this last night when I couldn't sleep I had bad heartburn and didn't want to lay down .  Not 100% sure on the title but couldn't think what else to do.

This layout also reminds to get my but into gear and go get my sewing machine serviced I wanted to sew the fabric on in this LO but my sewing machine is stuffed at the moment so i had to fold and use sticky dots instead, also not a fantastic photo as I took at night.
