8 Days to Go

Just in case you couldn't guess from the title of this entry only 8 days to go until I go to Melb !!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to met Rach and the Miss B who was ver brave when she had her op yesterday, I could hear the worry in Rach's voice the night before the Op while we were talking on the phone and then I could also hear the relife in her voice when she called to say everything went ok.

I have a hens night to go to this weekend and I just finished sewing Molly the chicken (a freebie pattern that I got from Mel's blog), I added a little pink veil to the chicken lol. Not the best lokign chicken but I am sure it will get a good laugh hehe. I need to put some eyes on it then i will take some pic's it looks a little evil without eyes LMAO.

And here is a Lo that I finished off today it had been on my desk for about a week.



Some good news on Charlize's Toilet Training, that has been going on since she was 16 mths old I will never start that early again it just seems to be dragging and dragging although it was good to not to have to change as many shitty nappies LOL. She has been doing wee's and poo's on the toilet for ages but has never clicked that she needs to come and tell me when she needs to go. Well today she was dry all day except for a little wee in her pull up when she had her sleep. Still not telling me when she needs to go but has done a wee each time i put her on the loo today so hopefully we are turning corner and she will be nearly TT soon.

Anyway on that note I shall leave you all for now ( well my 2 or 3 readers anyway LMAO).

Well what have I been up to lately, we went for a bike ride in the city on the weekend and went to the botanical gardens finally got some new photos of Charlize she wasn't overly interested in the camera though,here a couple that i manages to snap.






I have been bitten by the sewing bug and i can across this pattern for a cute little scotty dog here is my first attempt very quick to do i whipped him up in one morning sitting in front of the TV.





And last but not least a LO that i have had on my desk for pushing the PP around not overly happy with it but it is done and it will do lol.




Ok that is enough for me today LOL oh expect to say that there is ONLY 10 DAYS to go until I get to met RACH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only 19 Days until I get to go to Melbourne and met RACH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I am excited a whole weekend of scrapping with no Jeff or Charlize, it will be longest time I have spent away from Charlize have only ever been away from her for 1 night before, so I will miss my little pork chop.

Miss Olive

Well I have jumped on the Olive bandwagon and made Charlize her very own Miss Olive, the first attempt wasn't too crash hot so she ended up in the bin after I had sewed the arms and legs on back to front and upside down LOL, there is only so much unpicking a dolly can handle.

When I sat down on the lounge today to cut out a new Miss Olive Charlize was sitting next to me saying "what u doing Mummy" I said making a dolly and her reply was "ohhh Mummy making the dolly" lol. so will be interesting to see what she thinks of her tomorrow.

SO here she is Miss Olive ( not bad for a chick that has never sewed before LOL)



We went to the Ekka last night and Charlize had a ball, she palyed with the baby animals, held a 2 day old baby chicken, saw the wood chopping, had a few rides, played the clowns and of course she had to have a show bag it was the Freddo one.

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today was a great day, I got a very unexpected phone call from Kristy at Scrapbooking Memories to tell me that I had been shortlisted in the top 100 for the Master Comp.

Now to say I was shocked would be an understatement LMAO !!!!!! It didnt even register when she said who she was and where she was calling from I just thought it was about one of My LO's that they publishing. You could have knocked me over with a feather when she told me, I am sure that I sounded like an absoulte fool. My hands were shaking and my heart was racing for quite a while after the phone call.

So there you go now the wait begins I dont think the Masters are announced until Dec, all I really want to to have my Double LO published and I am very happy with that as it is a very special LO to me.

That is my exciting news for the year now LMAO, I am off to go finish a LO now.

Weekend Wrap Up

Well wasn't an overly exciting weekend here, we were going to go to the Ekka on Saturday arvo but Charlize has been sick and has this horrible hacking cough, so we just stayed home and did nothing very exciting.

Today I went to a crop with the EB Brissy girls at Kimley's house was a great day nice and relaxing and the time just flew by. I came home to relive Jeff from his baby sitting duty so he could go out and we went for a walk up to Mr Toys and brought Charlize some playdoh and she played with that for most of the afternoon and had a ball.

Other than nothing exciting, oh hang on I did win one of the CC challenges on Scraptaular for my Pantheon LO and only 28 days until I go to Melb getting very excited about that now.

Oh yes and I told Rach I need to loose at least 5kgs b4 I met her so she doesn't get scared from the huge elephant that will met her at the airport LMAO.

Scrapatcular Cyer Crop

Well haven't posted all week been slack, Jeff went into have his skin cancer removed on Wednesday and then went back to have the hole repaired on Thursday, so been busy running him around town.

I got my last 2 layouts done for the Scraptacular CC last weekend, was great chatting to the spractaular girl and learning a little about who I will be meeting a 28 days time OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my poor possum has a bit of flu going around not too bad atm she i have been giving her demazin so hopefully that will keep it at bay, we are hoping to go to the Ekka tomorrow afternoon, and then on Sunday I am going to my first ever crop with the Brissy EB girls.

2. I was born in Junee NSW, and we lived across the road from Laurie Lawrence.

4. I now am a resident manager to townhouse complex with 62 units in the complex.

5. When I was 20 I moved to Italy as a Nanny but only lasted 2 mths hated the family, spent a month in London and then came home.

6. I just got a new car Black Mazda 6 Wagon Diesel, took bloody 9 weeks to get it though lucky that I love it.

7. I am heading to Melbourne to met Rach in just over a month very excited about that.

8. I need to go on a bloody diet and stop shoving shit in mouth every 5 secs.
