Charlize's Dancing Concert 2009

Last night we had Charlize's dancing concert, I only got to watch her from backstage but she did a great a great job and we get to do it all over again tonight. I get to watch her from the audience tonight so I am looking forward to that.

I am really enjoying scrapping again and did another LO today while the kids were having their lunch and sleep, although embellishing the LO's atm is quiet trying nothing seems to be working for me hopefully it will come back soon.

2 LO's in 2 days !!!!!

Ok don't fall off your chairs (that is if there is still anyone that even reads my blog anymore LOL!!) But I have done another LO thats right 2 in 2 days it's a miracle !!!

Finally Scrapped

Ok I can't even remember the last time I scrapped a page but I did tonight !!!!!! Poor Carter has hardly any Lo's done on him and he is already one !!

I can't believe 12 mths has passed already and my little baby is now a big 1 year old :(

We had his birthday on the day of birthday and it was total madness about 25 kids enough to drive anyone crazy !!!!

After some opinions

Ok so I have been having a think about what I am going to do work wise and I have an idea for a business but just wanted to get some feedback from people.

So I was thinking of opening a kind of Art and Craft studio for kids up to the age of 5 1/2(so before they go to Prep), would you been interested in taking your child to something like this?

Activities would include painting,collage, making things (rockets butterflies, pirate hats etc etc), playdoh, cooking biscuits, face painting etc

I am thinking about where I would open this, there are shops just around the corner which would be perfect for this but I am not sure if it will be popular enough to start out paying rent etc.

Another option is that we have a large 6x6 shed in our backyard would you attend something like this in someones back yard or would you expect it to be at a real retail type outlet?

If the business was successful I would then move it into a shop.

How much would you pay for a service like this? Would you pay for a full term, buy a 10 session card or prefer to pay as go?

Would you expect someone who runs a business like this to have any qualifications (e.g teacher etc) I don't have any but was thinking of doing a teachers aide course.

Would you have your child's birthday party at something like this?

What sort of price would you pay for this?

I am thinking one session each morning from 9.30am or 10am for 1hr. and possibly one in the afternoon at around 2ish (but I think this could be around sleep times)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!

Cakes

Here are 2 that I have done last week.

The first one was for Jeff's Birthday, he did a 50km mountain bike ride on his birthday yesterday so I made the jake a bit of a joke and made the bike look like it was all broken up after he had fallen off on a log LOL.



And the second one was for my next door neighbors birthday and i made the hippo just because it was cute!!!





Ok so i have a new Craze at the moment and it is making cakes and figurines for the top of cakes.

Mel's Puzzle Piece

I finally finished Mel's Puzzle that she gave me to do at the retreat lat year!! Yes i know 12 months to finish a little thing I am very naughty but it is done now and will be in the post tomorrow.

Ok don't all fall off your chair in shock but yes I have actually scrapped a page i can't even remember how long it has been since I last scrapped.

It isn't anything flash but I like it because of the photo.

Do we look alike ?

I was taking some photos of Carter yesterday and I looked at him and it reminded me so much of Charlize so went back and found this photo of Charlize.

I have actually scrapped a page, it take me about 2wks to finish it though LMAO !!!! Don't know if I can really be bothered scrapping anymore but feel guilty that I haven't done much for Carter LOL!!

Slack Blogger

Ok so I have been a slack blogger lately I am blaming it all on Facebook I have been spending way to much on there. I have hardly scrapped in the last 2 months I think all I have done is finish off the mini album I posted the other day and one layout that is still sitting on my here half finished LOL.

So What has happened since my last post trying to think back it has been so long LOL.

* My Cousin Raelene and Aunty Elaine came up from the Central Coast for the weekend, we didn't do a great deal but it was great to catch up with them again.



* Charlize had her 4th Birthday Party which was super cute she had a ballerina themed party with all the little girls from her ballet class.








* Jeff took Charlize to Moreton Island for the Queens Birthday long weekend, they had a fantastic time.







* I turned 32 while they were away camping and went out with the girls for dinner and Carter had his first sleep over at Granny's House.




* Carter is growing like a weeding and is now mobile he does a bit of an army crawl around the house, so it is a case of beware of anything that is on the floor. he especially loves to grab paper and eat it LOL. He still has no teeth and is a pretty happy little boy he is very ticklish and just goes into fits of giggles when you tickle him it is very cute !!






I have been pretty slack with taking photos lately and must get back into taking more especially of Carter he will be one before I know it.
